Well done to Ben, George, Tom & Joe for completing the Jamboree selection weekend recently. Only 4 of the 20 who attended could be chosen to represent Lonsdale. Very many congratulations to Joe who was successful and will have this exciting opportunity for a memory of a lifetime. - Camping Competition

Congratulations to our team, winners of the Inter-Troop trophy, who took part in the Annual West Lancashire Scout & Guide Orienteering Championships at Worden Park, Leyland. Enthusiasm was unbounded but the weather was abysmal and made for a very wet and muddy experience.

Well done to our three teams who took part in this enjoyable and interesting event on Beacon Fell.
Our highest placed team finished in a very creditable third place. Well done to all concerned and thanks to 'The Crew' for another well run competition. - District Swimming Gala
Congratulations to our swimming team who retained the Lonsdale District Swimming trophy at the gala on 2 October.
Both our Cubs and Beavers also won their respective events making it a memorable clean sweep for the 16th in 2008. We also won the overall Group trophy. - Camping Competition
