Camping Competition 2008
Congratulations to our team, pictured above, who were successful in retaining the Centenary Camping Trophy at the Lonsdale District Camping Competition held over the weekend of 26/28 September at SilverHelme campsite.
In beautiful late summer weather the teams showed off their camping and cooking skills as well as enjoying a variety of activities including pioneering (bridge building), a wide game and a quiz. Our team also practised plane table mapping and orienteering.
