Christmas Hike 28 December - on Green Bell (605m). In October we cycled to the Lune Estuary at Sunderland Point. Today we hiked to the source of the river, 41 miles upstream, below Green Bell in the Howgill Fells, near Ravenstonedale. Photo gallery here

Inside the Eiger, Switzerland

A conversation I might have heard on the Sphynx Observatory, Jungfraujoch, Switzerland. 

I say J, I can't quite believe this. It's a gloriously sunny day, the views are unbelievable, we can see for miles, we're above the snowline and around 11,000 feet above sea level.
